The About EMBRACE page will give you a view of some of my professional accomplishments, experiences and philosophy. However, having a doctorate degree and being seen as a subject matter expert is merely a function of who Cara is. I am fortunate to have worked helping profession for over 27 years. My career path has been exciting, interesting, challenging and fulfilling. My Blog will not only give you visions of my professional depth but will also allow you to see how I apply life lessons with my professional knowledge to my personal growth journey. Recognizing that I am not perfect (there is no such thing) I am on the constant pursuit of learning ways that I can self improve – intellectually, professionally, emotionally, spiritually, creatively, and physically. In my Blogs I have decided to keep it real and allow the world to see me. One of my favorite researchers and authors Brene’ Brown states, “ I define vulnerability as uncertainty, risk and emotional exposure. To be human is to be in vulnerability” and “to truly show up authentically in your life, you have the power to create honest connections with yourself and others”.
